Assistant Controller

Issues that used to take 1-2 weeks to mitigate now take our customers on average less than an hour to solve. Lightrun empowers our customers' developers by eliminating the need for costly developer lifecycle operations like reproducing locally, or issuing a new software version just for adding new logs or metrics. With customers varying from Fortune 500 (including F10 companies) to SMEs and SMBs across multiple verticals, Lightrun is growing rapidly.
We are looking for an exceptional assistant controller to join us in building, optimizing, and growing Lightrun’s financial department and infrastructure from the ground up. We are at a crucial stage of establishing best practices and scalable global finance processes to support our rapid growth.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious, creative, ‘all-in’, hands-on, experienced CPA with a strong work ethic, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a proven record of producing exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
-Help manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
-Help run all the day-to-day finance operations (billing, collection, etc).
-Provide professional guidance and assistance for the bookkeeping staff projects oriented and improving processes
Requirements:
-CPA from one of the ‘Big 4’ accounting firms.
-Hi-tech / Fin-tech companies experience
-Solid understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting procedures, regulatory compliance, and all other core financial close and control processes.
-A wizard in Microsoft Excel - (advantage)
-Proficient knowledge and experience in Priority.
-Fluent English – writing and verbal.
-Forward-thinker, creative problem solver, self-learner. Highest standards of accuracy and integrity. Able to handle pressure and deadlines and adapts quickly.
-Ability to build and manage complex activities while delivering world-class results
Preferred:
Previous experience working with the Israel Innovation Authority & proven track record of excellence
